Wedding Bells and Bug Spray

July 5, 2024

For this week we start of exited for the celebrstion of Matts wedding. He got married on monday and wish him a happy honeymoon through out the week. we started back work on tuesday hopping right back into stream restoration and some beatufly weeded gardins in crapoud. After a long day of working we were glad we had a job well done. Although we were back at it the next day. not time off at SSWA as we cut through the streams all day, almost finishing the streach of the stream but we glad we pushed through the hot day. Thursday the team was split up everywhere in the morning some of us went back to the stream to finaly finish it up; while others went out on a vegatation servay in westmorlan and tryon. on the servay we were glad to have spotting eelgrass in tryon which is a great plant to have around. In the after noon some of the team went out weeding at the outdoor classroom in Crapaud.

To finish of the week we had Romey and Ryan out for the day for some first aid traing and will be sertifed starting next week. With Romey, Ryan and Matt all out for today we had a slim team to work with. even though we and a shortage of people we still got great work done. In the morning we pushed hard to get all the mowing spots down at our parks to keep them pretty. We got Noonan's, Webster's, and Westmorland all completed in the morning. the after noon we took a good rest to end the week with some cleaning around the office and some future planning for the weeks ahead.

Through the weeks we had some laugh while staying hard at work but to en of this week i suggest everyone stay tuned next week for an important update on our annual swim for the South Shore Water Shed!
